System LifeGuard 2 offers you the Auto Shutdown Manager - Shutdown timer so that you can set your computer to shut down periodically. It is a handy feature that allows you to automatically shutdown, power computers at schedule time you specifies. Auto Shutdown Manager - Shutdown timer gives you different ways to schedule the shutdown event for your needs, such as daily, weekly and only once.
For NT/2000/XP users it is required that they select the account and password to use at shutdown. Select an account from the drop-down list and type in the password for that account (required).
Note: The account options (username and password) are set from Control Panel -> Accounts
You can choose : - when to ShutDown ( Once, Daily, Weekly, Monthly )
- the Start Time - when to start the shutdown process: hour and minute.
- a number of days, weeks or months to be between two consecutive shutdowns.
You can also choose to be asked for before shutting down by checking Ask Before Shutting Down.
